The moon shines the brightest on this specific night. When the earth is situated between the sun and the moon; making the moon illuminated fully on earth. This is what humans call a full moon. But it is not only humans that live on earth. Werewolves, the protector of humans, call this night The Rising where their Goddess has immense more power. This is also the night that monstrous vampires call a blood moon, where the moonlight shines brightest and heals their wounds, and it gives them more power.

　　Two decades have passed since the Red War occurred and ended, when vampires attempted to put the humans under their reign to create an endless blood supply. But werewolves entered the war and protected humanity with the help of one of the ancient vampires named Vladimir who is now the king of Vampires.

　　Rules have been made and peace is being maintained after all the blood that has been shed on that year. Rules that say vampires shall only be fed with a willing victim, animals, or by buying a blood bag while Werewolves stay in the forest and remain in their human form when traveling on humanitarian grounds.

　　But humans, being known to be the weaker species, grew with fear and doubts. They have formed an organization called SilverShadows specialized to kill all vampires and werewolves. The rise of this organization a decade ago, however, aggregated the superiority of some of the vampires who had gone rogue from their King. And so little war between the three species continues to prevail.

　　The ground shakes with every paw stamping on the soil. They run with their gigantic size, various shades of fur, and captivating eyes. With their inhuman speed, they run towards the cliff at the end of the forest, looking at the moon they howled with pride and joy. The pack is being led by the biggest black wolf with winter gray eyes. He is Jace Howard the Alpha of La Luz de la Luna pack. They were the current biggest and strongest pack, formed two decades ago when two packs merged to strengthen their power and fight against the vampires.

　　While everyone is expressing their joy to the Lupa - the Goddess of the moon, Selena Monrrow, daughter of the beta sits on the giant stone far from the pack while looking at the moon asking many questions mostly starting with ‘why’.

　　Selena is a full-grown 18 year old who was supposed to have shifted by now, but her wolf has not made any contact with her so she is unable to shift.

　　She is admiring the moon when she senses numerous moving figures in the shadow. Looking back at the forest, a reflection catches her attention behind the trees, and the moonlight shines on to a silver arrow . Her breathing became fast as a small fear rushed to her. Looking between her pack and the shadows in the forest, knowing full well that she needs to do something to protect her pack, she runs swiftly towards the werewolves, aiming to get near the Alpha but looking back she sees that they are getting ready to aim. Diving towards the Alpha, Selena shouted at the top of her lungs, “SilverShadows!”

　　The alpha and other pack members all became alerted, heightening their senses they were able to dodge the arrows that were shot into the air. Alpha Jace howled in anger as he saw some of their pack members shot to the ground.

　　Mind linking the hunters, the Alpha instructed them to hunt all the SilverShadows present in the area unless they run for their life while the beta and delta of the packs help the injured and other members to get back on the pack house.

　　One by one the pack runs toward the house with immense strength and speed that you could feel the impact of their paws on the ground while Selena remains curled on the dirt with her hands on her head to protect herself from the giant wolves and silver arrows.

　　Alpha Jace who is fighting with one of the SilverShadows saw this and with immense force, he pushed the man he is fighting with on the ground with his paws, digging his nails into the man's chest with blood sprouting from the made wound. Alpha Jace then growled loudly and pushed him to the cliff. Running back where Selena is, Alpha Jace gently butted Selena with his head to get her attention. “Get on my back,” he said through the mind link.

　　With the instruction of the Alpha, Selena abruptly stood up from the ground and got on the Alpha's back. With an even closer look she saw how black and smooth his fur is, holding on his neck to stop herself from falling while the Alpha jumps in the air and runs back to their lack house.

　　“Push the intruder outside the territory and go back.” The alpha instructed the hunters and Sentinels - the patrolling Wolfs and guard of the pack via mind link.

　　As soon as they got near the pack house, Alpha Jace placed Selena down and shifted to his human form at the back of one of the trees. Alpha Jace has tan skin, gray eyes, black hair and a muscular body resulting from all the training he had like every other wolf.

　　Looking to the premises the Salutary wolves, herbal doctors of the pack are attending to those injured while others are shifting back to their human form and changing to decent clothes.

　　Selena stands in there with pain in the back of her mind. If only she could shift into her wolf form then she could have fought together with her pack.

　　Alpha Jace must have sensed her feelings and looked back at her. “You did good. Most of us are saved because of your warning.” He said before entering the house.
